Course Description
We are offering a full-time, intensive TOEFL Preparation Course, which is designed to help students acquire the skills and confidence necessary to get a high TOEFL score.

TOEFL is recognized throughout the world by universities and businesses as a measure of English proficiency. A high TOEFL score is required by most U.S. colleges and universities for admission of international students.

Our TOEFL class incorporates the latest software and books to prepare students and improve their scores on the TOEFL exam. Practice tests and timed exercises will help students to get confidence and do well on the real test. The class will concentrate on the four areas of the TOEFL test: listening, structure, reading and writing, as well as test-taking skills and strategies.

The full course is 12 weeks long but students may enroll for any number of weeks, based on their individual needs and study plans. The optional CBT Computer Lab is open every day and offers students additional self-study practice for the computer-based TOEFL test.

Teacher's Profile: Julie Davis, ESL/TOEFL Instructor

"I have been teaching ESL and TOEFL for over twenty-five years. I have lived abroad and traveled extensively. Teaching students from other countries with different cultures, customs and backgrounds is very rewarding and enjoyable.
Helping students improve their test-taking skills to pass the TOEFL test is a great challenge; at times, I feel like a coach for an Olympic athlete!! Seeing the students learn, progress and score well on the test gives me great satisfaction.
Teaching is one of the greatest professions out there. I hope to be able to help you achieve your goal! Let's get started - let's get to work!"
