Vacation Policy
Students should talk to one of our advisors before making travel plans.

F-1 Students must complete at least 16 weeks of full-time study before being allowed to take a vacation.

Maximum allowed vacation:
- after 16 wks study = 2 wks vacation
- after 24 wks study = 3 wks vacation
- after 28 wks study = 4 wks vacation

No more than 4 weeks of vacation will be authorized at any time.

A minimum of 4 weeks tuition must be prepaid before a vacation will be approved.

Authorized vacation time can be made up at the end of the course.

Short-term Excused Absence
Absences of less than a week can be authorized if requested in advance. Students will be considered "excused" for the time of the absence.

Time lost due to a short-term excused absence cannot be made up at the end of the course.

Students on an F-1 student visa are allowed a maximum of 4 days of excused absence during any 12-week period of study.
