When we are sick, we seek a doctor, we go to the hospital; When we are in legal trouble, we seek a lawyer, we go to court; When we are puzzled, we seek a spiritual guide, we go to a temple; But when we simply do not know, or truly want to grow, We seek a teacher, we go to school. Most of my life I have been in school: What a wonderful way to live! My great good fortune has been to always encounter excellent schools, Schools where the student comes first, Always. Such a school is Brandon College. Now my career as a schoolteacher comes to a happy conclusion. I have accomplished all I ever wanted to: Teach, guide, direct, develop, and leave something for others to build upon. It's not for me to say how valuable my contributions to education have been; However, I have no hesitation saying: I have taught the best; I have taught with the best; And I have always done my best. With great appreciation to the teachers, staff, and students of Brandon College, I offer my most heartfelt appreciation, and leave you my best wishes for all your future endeavors.
